Love Bank Park is located at 2853 – 2857 Cherokee Street, in the Benton Park West neighborhood, at the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and Cherokee Street. cinco de mayo: A cherokee street festival

An annual tradition, with a long history, Cinco De Mayo: A Cherokee Street Festival has evolved into a celebration of community and one of the largest and most diverse festivals in the St. Louis area.  Established over 15 years ago, the festival brings together over 50,000 attendees to celebrate the rich, multicultural and spirited, eclectic community within the Cherokee Street neighborhood and surrounding south St. Louis area.  LEARN MORE




In the fall of 2017, Cherokee Street Development League partnered with St. Louis City Greens to bring their Supa Fresh mobile for a weekly farmer's market at Love Bank Park.

cherokee street reach summer camp

In the summer of 2017, we partnered with Cherokee Street Reach to bring Cherokee Street Reach festival and programming to Love Bank Park.  Together, we created the opportunity for over 150 children to play, learn, and create, at Love Bank Park. This program was supported through the Incarnate Word Foundation Marketplace of Ideas grant.

On Thursday, June 1, more than 200 volunteers from New Balance, Cherokee Street Development League and KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit aimed at creating spaces for and promoting play for ideal child development, came together to build a brand-new playground at Gravois Park.  The new playground is being used by more than the 1,400 children and families, who live within walking distance of the playground.
